Acceptable Use Policy

As Kona+ SecureConnect VPN may be accessed from locations around the world, you agree to ensure that your use of the service complies with all applicable local laws and regulations. You agree to abide by all relevant laws, rules, and regulations, and you warrant that you will not—and will not permit any third party to—use the service in any manner that may violate applicable law or infringe upon third-party rights.

Without limiting the foregoing, you further warrant that you will not, and will not allow any third party to:

(A) reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile, translate, reconstruct, transform, or extract any portion of Kona+ SecureConnect VPN (including without limitation any related malware signatures or detection routines);

(B) change, modify, or otherwise alter Kona+ SecureConnect VPN (including without limitation any related malware signatures or detection routines);

(C) publish, resell, distribute, broadcast, transmit, communicate, transfer, pledge, rent, share, or sublicense Kona+ SecureConnect VPN;

(D) use Kona+ SecureConnect VPN to provide or build a product or service that competes with Kona+ SecureConnect VPN;

(E) use or attempt to use Kona+ SecureConnect VPN to upload, store, or transmit any data, information, or materials that:

• infringe the intellectual property or other rights of third parties;

• contain any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable material of any kind; or

• otherwise damage, disable, or impair the operation of Kona+ SecureConnect VPN;

(F) gain or attempt to gain unauthorized access to Kona+ SecureConnect VPN, to networks connected to it, or to content stored or delivered through it, by any means—including hacking, spoofing, or seeking to circumvent or defeat any firewalls or other technological protections or security measures.

 

We reserve the right to take appropriate measures when Kona+ SecureConnect VPN is used contrary to this Policy or applicable laws, including cooperating with public or private authorities as required by law.

 

Furthermore, Kona+ SecureConnect VPN reserves the right, in the event of a breach of this Policy, to restrict or suspend, in whole or in part, access to the service without providing a refund for any services already paid for, as well as to initiate legal proceedings.
